Dr. Stephen Yan

The NZ National T’ai Chi Ch’uan Association welcomes new member, Dr. Stephen Yan. Dr. Yan has been teaching wu style tai chi, tai chi swords, spears, broad sword applications, and push hands for nearly 28 years in Wellington. He is a published author and also a practising Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor.

Fourth International Course Taiji Quan with Master Faye Yip, 4-6 March 2016

Wushu Culture Association is proud to present the Fourth International Course of Taiji Quan with Master Faye Yip on 4-6 March 2016 in Auckland.  Individual workshops include Taiji Kung Fu Fan, Yang Style New Competition Form, Taiji Quan 24 Movements in Depth and Taiji Quan 42 Movements In Depth.

Master Faye Yip, now based in the UK, was born into one of China’s most influential martial art families.  She is daughter of Professor Li Deyin, the creator of Taiji Kungfu Fan and 42 Step Taijiquan.

Festival of Tai Chi 2015 – 21st November 2015

The date for this year’s Festival of Tai Chi is 21st November 2015 and the event will be held at the Russley School Hall from 10am – 2pm.

The doors will be open at 9:45am for registration. The entry fee is $5. Programs will be available as well as Association products and instructional DVDs

This is an excellent opportunity to catch up with old friends and learn more about the Tao Arts.

We have Dave Thew, David Wong, Gabrielle Euteneuer, Richard Clark, Terry Young and Tim Exton and Master Linjian Song and Audrey Tan Hayes on the programme.

There will be an address by the President of the Association: Mr Trevor Quirk.

Please lock these details into your calendars and start talking about it in your classes. If you have a group that wishes to participate in the event please let us know and we will endeavour to make this happen.
