World Tai Chi & Qigong Day 2017 in Wellington

Tai Chi Associates Wellington hosted another successful World Tai Chi and Qigong Day and it was attended by about 200 people, including several Chinese groups. This year, we dedicated our event to Marie and Nick Turner who were founding members of our organisation and they had always played a big part in the programme. This year, we also received funding from the China Cultural Centre in New Zealand which was gratefully received so we could have a proper sound system and a dedicated photographer. The programme included the usual like 8 form, 24 form. Tai chi Kung fu fan, 42 sword form etc and we had a Chen demo from Terry Young and a sword demo by Victor Zhang.
